Which kind of class is right for me?
IMPACT Diabetes uses a combination of digital, in-person, and telehealth classes to make participation as easy as possible, through a flexible schedule that can meet your needs! You'll have 24/7 access to online class videos and to private messaging with your Lifestyle Coach. With IMPACT Diabetes, flexibility is key.
All classes have a digital component, but there are 2 types:
In-Person or Telehealth.
IN-PERSON
Medicare requires in-person classes that allow you to meet your lifestyle coach, who likely lives in your community and understands your needs. Classes usually meet at an easily-accessible setting nearby.
DIGITAL & TELEHEALTH
These classes are via Zoom, where you can participate anywhere with an internet connection. You can talk with your coach and classmates to discuss challenges and get helpful guidance.
If you miss a class, don't worry!
No matter which cohort you're in, missed classes can easily be made up online at a later time. Your Lifestyle Coach will be flexible with you and work around your schedule to make sure you can participate!
